I have had a lot of inquiries on my credit bureau and I know it is effecting my score. A lot of these were from almost 2 years ago. How long do inquiries affect your credit score?

The inquiries actually fall off after being on the report for two full years. After they have I would suggest making sure you do not apply for credit any time soon. Space the inquiries out over a course of years. People with good credit usually do not apply for credit but only one time every 1-2 years.

Inquiries stay on your credit file for up to 2 years. After those 2 years are up and you still see the inquiries on your file, dispute it to the bureau that’s reporting it. Credit file inquiries only effect your score for 90 days.

They will stay on your credit report for 2 years, as others have already pointed out. Not all of them, however, can be seen by prospective creditors and don’t have an adverse effect on your credit. Take a close look at your last credit report and you will see the notes there.
